Nowadays, people often say that they feel bored. But, what on earth is boredom? We feel bored when we expect things to meet our taste, our needs or our pleasure but reality fails to meet our expectations. Then we feel disappointed and eventually, we get bored.

The reason why we feel bored lies in our failing to use wisdom to observe at this very moment. As a result, we are dominated by what we see, hear, think or feel. The external phenomena severely influence our thoughts, speeches and behaviours.

Using wisdom to observe means observing that the rising and ceasing of every phenomenon is without any essence, or like a dream by nature. This is called “Wonderful Observation”, which is an amazing perspective used by the enlightened sages.

Especially when we observe things from  deep inside our heart, our life becomes active and colourful.  At least we have no reason to feel bored or the idea of getting bored will never come up to our minds because our heart is the whole universe, which  is so rich and dynamic that there is no reason for us to be bored.
